Hey everyone it’s Zainab, welcome or welcome back to the blog! Today, as per requested by one of my followers, I’ll be sharing how to identify and avoid toxic friendships. Even though I’ve never been in any toxic friendships this is just what I do to make sure I don’t get into one.
Identifying Toxic Friendships:
A toxic friendship is a friendship where your ‘friends’ make you feel bad about yourself and aren’t very inclusive of you in situations. If you feel that you’re in a friendship like this it’s a good idea to get out as soon as possible.
The best way to get out of a toxic friendship is to find a new, non toxic friendship group. Once you’ve found the better ones, you just need to stop talking and giving attention to the toxic friendship until you eventually phase out of their group. Similarly, if toxic people try to befriend you; make sure you give them no attention because as soon as you do they will just make you feel bad about yourself.
