My 2021 Goals

Hi everyone, it’s Zainab, welcome or welcome back to Zainab Chats! Happy New Year Everyone! It feels crazy that we’re in 2021 already; time really flies! Today, I’m going to share with you my 2021 goals.

Honestly, with everything that has happened last year, I honestly believe 2021 will be my year so I actually enjoyed setting myself these goals! Let’s jump into it!

  1. Not Being Hard On Myself
    This is definitely something I have to try and improve on this year, if I get a bad grade or anything along those lines; I will feel so guilty and honestly just cry! This is something that I have to try and stop doing, I want to learn to work hard and know that there’s always room for improvement!
  2. Working Out More
    When the lockdown started this year, I started exercising a lot more. Honestly, I loved when my adrenaline was pumping! Therefore, I want to keep this up for 2021 and keep exercising to improve my fitness!
  3. Making More ‘Me’ Time
    I managed to give myself a lot more time to work on myself due to the 2020 lockdown and I really enjoyed it! So, this year I’m going to try and schedule at least 1 day a week as a day to focus on myself, meditation is definitely what I’m going to try and do!
  4. Being More Grateful
    I think the one positive thing about 2020 is that it taught everyone to be a lot more grateful; so I want to bring that into this year! I am going to achieve this goal by making a gratitude tracker in my bullet journal and write down something I’m grateful for every day!
  5. Get To 500 Blog Followers
    This is SO ambitious, but honestly this blog has been growing so much therefore I would be beyond excited if we hit 500!

    Think that you can totally achieve all these goals! Its important to do me time which I think because of the pandemic we all realized that mental health is just as important as physical health. You are going to totally rock this year!

It really does show! I love that a bunch of your goals are more about a way of being. Cultivating a grateful heart and mind makes all the difference.     Haha I can relate to all of them except my follower goal is tonnes smaller 😅! I personally feel that being grateful for what I have is something that I’m going to focus on this year. It’s so easy to get caught up in the negativity of the world but we truly are very blessed! Best of luck with all of your goals! 😄

    I can relate to all this! Especially, not being hard on myself. I feel like I’ve been dismissing my mental health a lot in 2020. I’ll need to focus more on my mental and physical health! 2020 taught me to be grateful about everything in my life and that’s something I need to keep in a longer term. I hope you get to 500 followers by the end of this year!!❤️

    Me time is a absolute must✨I need to be more active. We have a third lockdown and hopefully I can make use of that time.

    More me time and meditation sounds like a great idea! I completely agree with you about the importance of gratitude and I’ve also been using my bujo to do something similar. Good luck with your goals! I just followed your blog & I’m excited to read more posts from you in the new year. ❤
