Talking About My Positivity – Updates, Advice and More!

Hello everyone it’s Zainab, welcome or welcome back to Zainab Chats! For today’s blog post, I thought I’d do something slightly different – I wanted to share an update on my positivity and share my experiences lately. I also want you all to share how you’ve been in the comments!

My Experiences Lately:
I’m someone who obviously loves positivity, but you can’t always be positive, including myself! Recently, I’ve been doing through something in my personal life – which I won’t get into – but it’s been hard to stay positive the whole time and writing posts like this really helps!

As said in a previous post, I recently had End Of Year Exams, which are over now. Not having exams anymore has definitely taken a weight off my shoulders – I’ve started getting some results and thankfully I’ve been happy with them, so that’s some positivity which has been brought to me!

So overall, my experiences lately have been mixed but the one thing that has definitely helped lately is writing blog posts for you all!

Things That Have Helped Me:
When I was getting ready for End Of Year Exams, my family was definitely a big help, my dad took me on a bike ride and that was definitely beneficial for my positivity!

Also, when I was going through things in my personal life, reading definitely helped! I tend to read thrillers because they take me into another mystery and were so interesting to read. Honestly, I haven’t been reading that much lately but I hope I to read more soon!

Another things that helped me were comfort shows (mainly sitcoms) which really helped me to boost my mood! Some shows I watched were:

  • Full House and Fuller House
  • Friends
  • How I Met Your Mother
  • The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air
  • Modern Family

A Habit I’d Like To Start:
Although writing blog posts about my experiences are super helpful for my wellbeing, sometimes there are things I have to keep personal so I’m keen to start writing a diary again. When I did, it was so calming, especially when I had deep emotions buried inside, I would definitely recommend you all try it!
