Hey guys, it’s Zainab, welcome or welcome back to Zainab Chats! I was a bit unsure what to write about for today’s post, I knew I wanted it to be about current affairs and also positivity. After a quick google search, I thought it would be fitting to do a post about what we all learned from the pandemic as there’s a lot to take from two years of this!
We Finally Gave Healthcare Professionals Some Sort Of Recognition
Our whole lives, of course we were thankful for healthcare professionals – but this pandemic made us realise how much we take healthcare professionals for granted. I think a lot of people learned how amazing the frontline workers are!
We Realised We Can’t Just Wait For ‘The Time To Be Right’
A lot of us started taking up skills and hobbies during the lockdowns – but then some of us wanted to wait until the world had opened up again. And I think that’s when a lot of people realised, there’s no ‘right time.’ We just have to seize whatever we can do!
We Need To Find And Keep Developing New Passions
As I said previously, new passions and skills were found in the last 2 years. Which was great. Now, we need to keep going! Just because we’re going back to busier lives, doesn’t mean we still can’t do the things we enjoy. Let’s still continue to enjoy ourselves!
We Can All Work Together
I think one of the things this pandemic did do was let us know it’s a combined effort and we all have to work together. And I’m so glad a majority of people did their part because that just makes me excited for Gen Z becoming the leaders of the future!
Thank you all so much for reading this post, let me know the lessons you learned from the last two years -I’d love to talk about them!
