Hey everyone it’s Zainab, welcome or welcome back! In my last blog post, I talked about the challenges being a teen blogger to shine a light on some of the difficulties, but of course this is a positivity blog so today I’ll be sharing the benefits and skills as a teen blogger. Let’s jump into it!

You Gain Different Writing Skills
This is the most obvious skill gained from blogging. Blogging allows you to really develop your writing skills and you can also work on different styles. Whether it’s formal or informal, you’re gaining valuable experience that you could use on your CV/resume in the future!
You Gain Some Website Building Skills
Website building is something not a lot of young people have, and even though building a WordPress website is quite easy as you get support, young bloggers will still get that basic understanding and can put them on your CV/Resume too.
You Gain Communication/Business Skills
If you decide to do blog interviews or work with brands, your gaining valuable employability skills that can be so beneficial in the future, and can help you grow and mature professionally faster.
You Interact With A Diverse Group Of People
One of the best things about blogging is you meet a variety of people. I’m so privileged to have met people from so many different backgrounds and experiences and it’s really cool and humbling in a way to meet people with such unique stories!
You Can become Better At Time Management/Organising
As I said in my last post, teen bloggers can find it very difficult to balance. But when you get through it, that’s such a great skill to have. Being able to keep organised when you have a lot going on is such a great skill to have.
Thank you so much for reading this blog post, I had a lot of fun writing this. If you know any other benefits – share them in the comments!

This is so true! One thing I realised from this post is that like when you’re making the blog (well at least me) you’re just thinking of the present but this post shows that this hobby can turn into an asset in the future in a lot of ways!

These are some amazing benefits! I wish I’d started blogging as a teen, but blogging was definitely not a thing back then. We were all just starting to get flip phones, haha. It’s amazing the things teen bloggers have been doing and thinking about; all of you are amazing!

As someone who started blogging as a teenager I couldn’t agree more with every point you mentioned. And I would definitely encourage anyone who is interested in creative things to start blogging early as a teenager because it’s such a great way to perfect certain skills at a young age plus get feedback. If I didn’t start blogging as a teenager I don’t think my writing would be what it is today.

Blogging has improved my writing skills so much! Looking back at the way I used to write my posts and how I write them now, I can definitely see the improvement🌚.
Before blogging, I always wondered how people built their websites – especially how they managed to add a *click here* and it would suddenly take you to another page😂. But now, I can do that and more🧘.
It’s awesome how we get to “meet” so many different people as bloggers🌼. This is an awesome post Zainab🍁
