Having Confidence In Your Decisions

Hey everyone, it’s Zainab, welcome or welcome back to my blog! Decisions can be huge parts of life, everyone has to make them, and it’s tough. Especially for young people or indecisive people – both of which are me in many scenarios. So today, I’ll be sharing how you can have some more confidence in decision making!

Go With Your Gut Instinct

We all know our gut instinct is key for decision making. Everyone has one, and it’s kind of what you think feels right and it signals to you what you would be most comfortable doing. For me, I’ve had numerous occasions where I haven’t listened to my gut instinct and I regretted it later on. You may have had it on the flip side though where you regret listening to your gut.
I would say, just do what you think is right (which normally is your gut feeling) and if you’re very indecisive do what your gut feeling tells you!

Ask For An Outsider’s Opinion

Sometimes, your judgement may be clouded and you don’t know if you can make the best possible decision. In this case, I’d say ask for someone else’s opinion. Specifically, someone who can understand you and also give you advice at the same time. For example, if it’s an academic decision ask your subject teacher.
In short, someone who can give you an unbiased and somewhat specialist opinion to help make your decision.

Look At The Outcome In A Bigger Picture

Sometimes, all it takes to make a decision, is picture the future scenario. If you’re given two options, try to look at each one individually and see which one you think would be best for you someday. It’s key to look at these from perspectives giving importance to your physical and mental health. This way, you know you can make the decision that’s right for you!

How To Be More Confident In Yourself

Hey guys it’s Zainab! One of my most requested posts is how to gain confidence and how to be confident in yourself! So today I’m going to share with you how you should be confident in yourself in different circumstances!

In Public: Most Of The People Will Never See You Again
If you’re in public and you need to do something like public speaking with a room full of people you hardly even know then just be yourself! Besides, most of the people you won’t ever see again so who cares what they think!

In Places With People You Know: They Won’t Judge You
With people you know, you should just be yourself because they won’t judge you as you already know them, and even if they do judge you, they’ll most likely keep it to themselves as they know you so you won’t even know what they think! So, embrace your inner confidence!

In Your Mental Health
I didn’t know whether to put this in or not however mental health is super important! So, the way I’m confident with my mental health is to just think of positive affirmations! Even simple ones like ‘you got this,’ can really make a difference!
