How Weekly Plans Increase Your Productivity

Hello everyone it’s Zainab here, welcome or welcome back to the blog! For today’s blog post, I’m going to be sharing how doing weekly plans is such an efficient way to increase your productivity. It’s actually helped me so much more on busy days rather then a daily plan. Let’s jump into why!

They Allow You To Delegate Tasks Between Days

We all have days where we just can’t finish our to do list. To the point where if you even attempt to, you’ll start getting burnout! When this happens on a weekly plan, you can just add it to the next day or a free day in the week easily because you can see everything for the week all on the same page. This way, you’ll be able to get what you need done in a week instead of trying to cramp it into a day! This works for everything: homework, events etc!

They Allow You To Factor In Breaks / Events

Leading off of what I said about burnout, breaks are key to avoid it. So, factoring breaks into your weekly schedules are easy as you have more time as you have delegated your tasks between the other days – making you avoid burnout!

They Allow You To Easily Create Your Next Weekly Plan

As you can see everything all on one page, you can see what you haven’t done throughout the week. Then, you’ll be able to quickly see what tasks you haven’t gotten done throughout the week. This way, you’ll be able to factor them into your next weekly plan!

Thank you so much for reading this post – let me know how you guys plan your weeks and share your advice in the comments!

I have a to-do list maker and a weekly planner. My weekly planner doesn’t have enough space for all my little tasks, so I only put down big events on it. However on my to-do list I break my day down with all the little details. But buying a weekly planner definitely made me more productive! <3<3<3

Planning is one of my favorite activities! I’m always disappointed when I open my planner up and find I have nothing left to plan, haha. It does help me stay on top of everything without any undue stress, and it’s so helpful on my brain dead days because I know what’s coming up next and I can at least get something down.

Really great advice- I always try to plan my week and days because it’s the only way I’ll get things done lol! I try not to over plan things or be too strict with it but to at least have some sort of plan for the things I need to get done that week.
